Why buy exchange data here
Four things every page on this site is built on — and the reason the numbers above exist at all.
We record everything
The complete public feed of each venue as it was published: every Level-2 snapshot and update at the venue's full book depth, every trade with its aggressor side, every quote, funding, mark-price and liquidation event — for every instrument the venue lists, every UTC day since we added the venue. Nothing sampled, no top-N cut, no on-demand capture.
Institutional grade
Captured co-located at the venue with the exchange timestamp and our receive timestamp in integer nanoseconds, an event-id chain that makes any gap visible, and one normalized schema across 35+ venues — the same capture our own high-frequency trading engine and enterprise feeds run on.
€1 per instrument-day
Any instrument-day is €1, series-day bundles start at €1 — no subscription, no minimum order, no tiers to unlock. Credit packs lower the effective price and never expire, and every venue has free full-day samples to test against first.
Self-service for everyone
Pick the days in the Data Shop, pay by card as a guest and download immediately — no sales call, no enterprise contract, no KYC. Coding agents buy the same files through the MCP server, and the free Agent Skill teaches them the format.
Crypto historical data — FAQ
What crypto historical data can I download?
Tick-by-tick trades, Level-2 order-book depth, 1-minute OHLCV/VWAP and bid-ask spreads for every covered venue — crypto spot, perpetuals, futures, options and prediction markets. Each file is one instrument for one UTC day, in one normalized schema.
How is the data captured?
Co-located, next to each exchange’s matching engine, by the same recording stack that feeds our low-latency trading engine — not polled from public REST APIs. Timestamps come from the exchange feed at nanosecond resolution.
How much does crypto historical data cost?
€1 per instrument-day — no subscription, no minimum order, no account needed: buy as a guest, download instantly, or use credit packs that never expire. See pricing, or grab free full-day samples on the downloads page.
Can I look at the data before buying?
Yes — free complete sample days per venue are on the downloads page, and the free analytics render the same archive live: candles, turnover, spreads and depth.
Do you offer the data as CSV or Parquet, or in realtime?
Both. Every sample and purchased tick day also exports as gzipped CSV or Parquet at no extra cost — trades, top-of-book quotes and liquidations with microsecond UTC timestamps, see the formats overview. For live trading, the same feeds stream in realtime over WebSocket or Unix domain socket, JSON- or SBE-encoded (Simple Binary Encoding) — see the SBE docs and pricing. Self-serve realtime access to Binance USDT-M and Binance Spot is in the shop by the UTC day — from €39.20 per instrument, €79.20 per market — via API key and WebSocket, captured at the venue in Tokyo and delivered at our London, Frankfurt or Ashburn endpoints over dedicated lines (public-beta price, 20 % off the list price of €49 / €99 for every day bought during the beta).
Which crypto exchange has the highest trading volume in the archive?
1. Binance USDT-M ($1.8T), 2. Okx ($809.0B), 3. Bybit ($497.4B) — together 54 % of the $5.6T recorded across 31 venues in the 30 days to 2026-09-18. The ranking is computed from our own trade captures, the same files sold per instrument-day.
How much trading activity does the archive record per day?
About $188.3B of USD turnover and 636.8M trades per UTC day across all venues in the 30 days to 2026-09-18, and $74.8T over the last 365 days. Each figure is a sum over tick-by-tick trade prints, so the per-instrument files reproduce it exactly.
