Exchange comparison

Crypto exchanges compared — spreads, depth and volume from recorded data

Head-to-head pages for the venues traders compare most — each built from our own tick-by-tick recordings of both feeds: instrument counts, 30-day turnover and, pair by pair, quoted spread and order-book depth. Measured numbers with their window, no rankings by opinion.

Measured the same way on every venue

Every venue in the archive is recorded the same way — every trade, every order-book update at full depth, every quote — so market-structure numbers are comparable across exchanges. The matchup pages put two venues next to each other; the trading-pair pages rank every venue of one pair; the liquidity benchmark shows the live picture.

Perpetual venues are compared with perpetual venues and spot with spot. Instrument rules that matter for execution — tick size, lot size, minimum order, funding interval — are on each pair and exchange page; the funding-interval table lists how often each venue settles funding.

How to

How to compare two exchanges on your own data

  1. Pick a matchup below, or open a trading pair to see every venue of that pair ranked by spread, depth and turnover.
  2. Open the Data Shop and choose the same instrument on both venues and the same UTC day — one file per venue-day with the complete feed.
  3. Check out — €1 per instrument-day, no subscription, no minimum, no account needed.
  4. Replay the books with the free Python reader or export CSV/Parquet, and measure spread, depth or lead-lag yourself.
Why CryptoStruct

Why buy exchange comparison data here

Four things every page on this site is built on — and the reason the numbers above exist at all.

We record everything

The complete public feed of each venue as it was published: every Level-2 snapshot and update at the venue's full book depth, every trade with its aggressor side, every quote, funding, mark-price and liquidation event — for every instrument the venue lists, every UTC day since we added the venue. Nothing sampled, no top-N cut, no on-demand capture.

Institutional grade

Captured co-located at the venue with the exchange timestamp and our receive timestamp in integer nanoseconds, an event-id chain that makes any gap visible, and one normalized schema across 35+ venues — the same capture our own high-frequency trading engine and enterprise feeds run on.

€1 per instrument-day

Any instrument-day is €1, series-day bundles start at €1 — no subscription, no minimum order, no tiers to unlock. Credit packs lower the effective price and never expire, and every venue has free full-day samples to test against first.

Self-service for everyone

Pick the days in the Data Shop, pay by card as a guest and download immediately — no sales call, no enterprise contract, no KYC. Coding agents buy the same files through the MCP server, and the free Agent Skill teaches them the format.

FAQ

Exchange comparison — FAQ

Which crypto exchange has the best liquidity?

It depends on the pair. Liquidity is measured per instrument — quoted spread and resting depth — and the leader changes from pair to pair. Each trading-pair page ranks every venue of that pair on 30-day average spread, top-20 order-book depth and turnover, and the matchup pages here compare two venues across all the pairs they share.

Where do the comparison numbers come from?

From CryptoStruct's own recordings: every trade and every full-depth order-book update of each venue's feed, rolled up per UTC day. Nothing is taken from exchange-reported statistics, and every figure carries its window.

How much does the underlying data cost?

€1 per any instrument-day — no subscription, no minimum order, no account needed: buy as a guest, download instantly, or use credit packs that never expire. Free full-day samples first on the downloads page; details on pricing.
