Crypto Market Data — Realtime Feeds and a Tick-by-Tick Historical Archive Across Every Venue

CryptoStruct records crypto market data at the source: every trade, every order-book update, every quote, funding, mark-price and liquidation message the venue publishes, captured co-located since February 2021 and normalized into one schema across spot, perpetuals, futures, options and the Kalshi and Polymarket event-contract books. The same capture is sold two ways — as a historical archive by the instrument-day, and as realtime feeds — and reaches you as tick files, day bundles, CSV/Parquet exports, a WebSocket stream, an MCP server or a 1-minute statistics API.

Files = instrument-day files in our catalog per calendar year (UTC); Recorded = raw feed volume, estimated from the compressed size; Instruments = distinct instruments with at least one file in the year; Venues (+n) = venues recorded in the year and how many joined the capture that year; Days = UTC days with at least one file. The open year shows no year-over-year change.

The jump in files and instruments from 2025 on is the prediction-market capture: every Kalshi and Polymarket event contract is its own instrument and its own day file, so a single series can add thousands of files per day. The crypto venues grow steadily by listings; the counts per venue are on the exchange pages.

Capture

How the market data is captured

Our recorders sit next to each exchange’s matching engine and subscribe to the raw public feed — not a REST poll, not a vendor’s candle stream. Every message is stored as it arrived, with the venue’s own timestamp and our receive timestamp in integer nanoseconds, in one message schema for every venue: order-book snapshots and incremental updates, trades with aggressor side, top-of-book where the venue publishes one, and on derivatives the mark/index, funding and liquidation streams. What a day file holds, message type by message type, is on the historical data page and in the market-data specification.

Because the archive is the recording, not an aggregation of it, any statistic on this site can be reproduced from the files: the daily turnover and trade counts on the exchange and asset pages, the 1-minute OHLCV and spread statistics in the analytics, the contract results on the prediction-market pages. Gaps are shown as gaps — a day without a file is unknown, never zero.

Crypto data API — search, statistics, downloads, MCP

There is no separate "market data API" product to license: the archive and its analytics are reachable programmatically as they are. The instrument search API resolves symbols to instrument IDs; the 1-minute statistics route serves the rolling last 24 h as CSV without a key; purchased and sample days download from authenticated routes that also serve the CSV/Parquet exports; and the MCP server exposes search, coverage, samples and checkout as tools for coding agents.

For live data, self-serve realtime access streams Binance USDT-M and Binance Spot over WebSocket by the UTC day — captured at the venue in Tokyo and delivered at our London, Frankfurt or Ashburn endpoints over dedicated lines, from €39.20 per instrument, €79.20 per market (public-beta price, 20 % off the list price of €49 / €99 for every day bought during the beta); the connection guide is at /docs/realtime. Bulk historical pulls use the order download routes documented for agents on llms.txt — one archive per day or one resumable tar per date range, never one request per file. Third-party exchange APIs are not proxied here; for a venue’s own endpoints and limits, check the current docs of that venue.

How to

How to get crypto market data from CryptoStruct

  1. Choose the path: an instrument-day file for one venue and symbol, a series-day bundle for a whole Kalshi/Polymarket series or Deribit option chain, or the realtime feed for live data.
  2. Try it first: every venue has free full-day samples in the exact shop format, with the CSV/Parquet exports and the browser order-book replay.
  3. Find the instrument on its exchange page, asset page or via the search API, open its calendar in the shop and pick the UTC days you need — €1 per instrument-day, no minimum.
  4. Buy per day at checkout, or in bulk with credit packs (€100 → 140 credits · €250 → 375 credits · €1,000 → 1,750 credits); files download instantly and stay yours.
  5. Read the file with the free Python reader from the Agent Skill, or take the ?format= CSV/Parquet export straight into pandas, DuckDB or Polars — see the format docs.

Purchased data is for your own use — backtesting, research, analytics and training your own models, in-house or in your own products; the trained models and derived data you build from it are yours. The raw files and tick streams themselves may not be redistributed, resold or published. The full terms are on the data license page.

FAQ

Crypto market data — FAQ

What crypto market data does CryptoStruct provide?

The complete public feed of each venue, recorded co-located and normalized: tick-by-tick trades, Level-2 order-book snapshots and updates, top-of-book quotes where published, and on derivatives funding, mark/index prices and liquidations — for crypto spot, perpetuals, dated futures and options, and for every Kalshi and Polymarket event contract. Historically by the instrument-day, and live as realtime feeds.

Is the data realtime or historical?

Both, from the same capture. The historical archive is sold per instrument-day in the shop and as series-day bundles. Realtime access to Binance USDT-M and Binance Spot is self-serve by the UTC day — from €39.20 per instrument, €79.20 per market — over WebSocket with an API key, captured at the venue in Tokyo and delivered at our London, Frankfurt or Ashburn endpoints over dedicated lines (public-beta price, 20 % off the list price of €49 / €99 for every day bought during the beta); enterprise subscriptions already cover further locations and venues.

How is the market data captured?

By our own recorders next to each exchange’s matching engine, subscribing to the raw public feed — the same stack that feeds our trading engine. Every message is kept with the venue timestamp and our receive timestamp in nanoseconds; nothing is sampled, resampled or reconstructed from candles. See how the feed is captured.

Is there a crypto data API?

The archive is reachable programmatically without a separate API product: an instrument search API, a free 1-minute statistics route (rolling 24 h as CSV), authenticated download routes for purchased days with CSV/Parquet exports, bulk zip/tar delivery for bundles, and a remote MCP server for coding agents. Live data streams over WebSocket. Details and endpoints are listed for agents on llms.txt.

Which venues and instrument classes are covered?

Major crypto spot and derivatives venues — Binance, Bybit, OKX, Deribit, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitget, Gate, KuCoin, Hyperliquid and more — plus the Kalshi and Polymarket prediction markets, across spot, perpetuals, dated futures, options and event contracts. The live counts per venue and class, with first and last recorded day, are on the exchange pages; the year-by-year growth is in the table on this page.

How much does crypto market data cost?

Historical data is €1 per instrument-day (the complete tick file, CSV/Parquet exports included), series-day bundles mostly €1 per series-day, and credit packs (€100 → 140 credits · €250 → 375 credits · €1,000 → 1,750 credits) for bulk. Premium is €20/month with 50 credits and deeper analytics. Free full-day samples need no sign-up. See pricing.

How far back does the crypto market data archive go?

The oldest recorded day is 2021-02-08 (2 venues in 2021); by 2026 (year to date) the capture spans 32 venues and the newest recorded day is 2026-09-16. Venues joined the capture over time — 2021: Binance USDT-M, Okx; 2023: Binance Spot, Gate.io Spot, Gate.io Future, Bybit, BitMEX, HTX and 9 more; 2024: Coinbase International, KuCoin Futures, Hyperliquid, Bitget, BingX, Mexc; 2025: Bitmart, Polymarket, Orderly, Whitebit; 2026: HashKey Exchange, Kalshi, HashKey Global, Binance Coin-M, HashKey MENA. Every year's coverage is listed per venue on the exchange pages.

How much data does the archive hold and how fast is it growing?

68.0M instrument-day files in total, 521 TB compressed. Files per year: 2021 1.5K, 2022 3.6K, 2023 949.4K, 2024 6.2M, 2025 11.3M, 2026 (year to date) 49.5M; 2025 recorded +82 % more files than the year before. The counts come from our own file catalog, not from an estimate.

Which crypto exchange has the highest trading volume in the archive?

1. Binance USDT-M ($1.8T), 2. Okx ($813.8B), 3. Bybit ($498.7B) — together 54 % of the $5.7T recorded across 31 venues in the 30 days to 2026-09-16. The ranking is computed from our own trade captures, the same files sold per instrument-day.

How much trading activity does the archive record per day?

About $188.5B of USD turnover and 634.1M trades per UTC day across all venues in the 30 days to 2026-09-16, and $75.0T over the last 365 days. Each figure is a sum over tick-by-tick trade prints, so the per-instrument files reproduce it exactly.
